From message to Pat:

I spent my birthday in Los Angeles visiting family. My Mom had another stroke (we think). She spent about 2 and a half weeks in hospital. But at least she is stronger now from the rehabilitation than before she got sick.

Stayed at my sister's house. Two of Varsha's girls are living with her. Five year old, Rain and nine year old, Jasmine, who is the spitting image of Varsha and has same behaviour patterns. Amazing!

Rain was a very rambunctious child and hard to handle. I was in a lot of stress. Guess I am getting too old.

Laurie had me spend the weekends with her and eventually got fed up with me. I am clueless as to what her problem with me is this time. I guess I just better stay away from her completely.

This is the same thing she did when Michael was about the same age the twins are. And the time I was so deathly ill with the kidney cyst and she put me on the next plane home as though I was a Leper. She has no idea how much it feels like she is stabbing me through the heart. Or, maybe she does, and really gets a lot of satisfaction from treating me like the scum she thinks I am. I just can't keep taking her abusive behaviour towards me. Its just like continuing to live with Bernard long after I needed to leave.

My Sweetie is arriving soon to visit me.
